Hon. Susantha Dodawatta directed three questions to the Prime Minister regarding President's participation in an Artificial Intelligence Summit held in India, which was attended at the invitation of the Indian Prime Minister. The member sought clarification on the significance of Sri Lanka's participation in the Summit, the identities of foreign Heads of State and notable figures the President met on the sidelines, and the tangible benefits and opportunities Sri Lanka gained as a result of the visit.
Hon. Prime Minister, as per media reports, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India, H.E. the President participated in the recent Artificial Intelligence Summit held in India and met several Heads of State and other leaders. I ask:
1. What was the significance of attending this Summit?
2. Which Heads of State and other notable persons did H.E. the President meet?
3. What benefits and opportunities accrued to Sri Lanka as a result?
