Question to the Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development:
(a) Will he inform this House the:
- (i) distance of the roads belonging to Grades A, B, C and D in Sri Lanka, separately for each grade in kilometres; and
- (ii) names of the institutions which maintain the roads belonging to each of the above grades, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House:
- (i) the projects that were initiated during the period from 2015 to 2024 for the development of roads;
- (ii) the distance of the roads that have been developed under those projects in kilometres;
- (iii) whether roads have been constructed in the Kurunegala District under those projects;
- (iv) if so, the distance of the said roads in kilometres; and
- (v) the total amount spent for that?
(c) If not, why?
