Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffer responded to a personal challenge from Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, who had questioned his political conscience during debate. Mulaffer countered by questioning Bathiudeen's own political record, asserting that the public is well aware of it, and tabled a court judgment as documentary evidence in support of his position.
Madam Presiding Member, Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen mentioned my name, specifically questioning my political conscience. I believe the people of this country know very well about his political conscience from how he acted in the past, and he himself has agreed to that path. I have with me a copy of a court judgment regarding this. I lay it on the Table for him to read.
