Hon. Sujeewa Dissanayake submitted Written Question No. 1594/2025 to the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education regarding the official vehicle allocation and fuel expenditure of the Minister of Industry and Commerce who served from September 2015 in the Eighth Parliament. Question to the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education (No. 1594/2025):
(a) Will she inform this House the
(i) number of official vehicles allocated by the then Government to the Minister of Industry and Commerce appointed from September 2015 in the Eighth Parliament;
(ii) registration number, type and model of those vehicles, separately; and
(iii) duration for which those vehicles were allocated?
(b) Will she also inform this House the
(i) monthly fuel entitlement for each of those vehicles, separately; and
(ii) amount of fuel spent monthly in litres and expenditure incurred for each of those vehicles, separately, during the period when the said Minister held office?
(c) If not, why?
