Hon. Imran Maharoof highlighted sporting achievements in the Trincomalee District, citing the Surangal Al-Ameen MV team's victory in the All-Island Under-18 football championship and the selection of school-level cricketers. Thank you, Hon. Minister. Many in the Trincomalee District excel in sports—recently, the Surangal Al-Ameen MV team won the All-Island Under-18 football championship, and several school-level cricketers have been selected and are performing well. Yet there is still no ground with all necessary facilities in the District. Is the Ministry engaging with the school system to develop or rehabilitate school grounds?
