Improvement of Health Facilities for Persons with Disabilities: Steps Taken To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media: (a) Will he inform this House— - (i) the steps taken within the health sector to ensure the health and well-being of persons with disabilities; - (ii) the steps taken to provide facilities enabling them to access clinical and other services; - (iii) the procedures in place to identify persons with disabilities and grant them priority when accessing medical institutions; and - (iv) the steps taken to enhance the professional and attitudinal competencies of officers providing health services to persons with disabilities? (b) Will he also inform this House— - (i) the technological strategies adopted to address the health issues of persons with disabilities; - (ii) the steps taken to use modern technology to improve health cooperation facilities; - (iii) the steps taken to implement a programme to provide financial assistance for medicines and tests; and - (iv) the steps taken to ensure equal access to health services? (c) If not, why?
