asked the Minister of Health and Mass Media:
(a) Will he inform this House –
(i) the number of media institutions owned by the Government;
(ii) the names of the said institutions;
(iii) separately, the number of journalists who have got registered in the aforesaid institutions at present;
(iv) the salaries and allowances paid to them;
(v) the method according to which the said payments are made;
(vi) whether he is aware that irregularities have occurred in relation to the payments made under this method; and
(vii) if so, the actions that have been taken regarding the said irregularities?
(b) If not, why?
