asked the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government: (a) Will he state in respect of the Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavuniya Districts, separately, the number of – (i) Grama Niladhari Divisions in which community halls have been established; (ii) such community halls that are in a usable condition without any deficiencies; (iii) community halls which lack sanitation, water or electricity facilities; and (iv) Grama Niladhari Divisions which do not have community halls? (b) Will he inform this House – (i) whether he is aware that the general public experience difficulties in obtaining services due to the aforementioned shortcomings; (ii) the plan to address these shortcomings in order to provide a quality service; and (iii) whether there is a plan to establish new community halls in Grama Niladhari Divisions which currently lack such facilities? (c) If not, why?
