Hon. Thanura Dissanayake posed a second supplementary question to the Deputy Minister regarding the financial aspects of the government's firearms licensing process. Specifically, the member sought clarification on whether citizens are charged a fee when a firearm is issued, the method by which such charges are calculated, and the mechanism through which any refund is administered upon surrender of the firearm.
