Mr. Speaker, whenever transfers occur, accommodation within the relevant police area is arranged. We identified issues around Colombo. Accordingly, with Cabinet approval, we purchased a 352-unit housing complex from the Urban Development Authority at a cost of Rs. 4,100 million to resolve accommodation issues for police officers in urban areas. We are also expanding and improving police barracks and facilities across stations.
