Hon. Jeyachandramoorthy raised a supplementary question regarding the impact of a 2019 administrative decision, which resulted in foreign graduates being appointed and then having those appointments cancelled. He noted that the affected applicants, who were eligible at the time (aged approximately 40–45), have since aged 7–8 years without receiving appointments, and asked whether age limit concessions would be granted to these individuals when appointments are offered going forward.
Mr. Speaker, my first supplementary:
From the court judgment, it appears that because of an individual’s decision in 2019, appointments were given to some foreign graduates and later cancelled. At that time, applicants were around 40–45 years of age and eligible. Subsequently, no appointments were given, and now their age has increased by 7–8 years. When appointments are offered now, how will the age limit be considered? Will concessions be granted?
